Ariston 1896 – (German)

This Ariston organette, Serial Number 357995, was patented by Paul Ehrlich of Leipzig, Germany in 1877. It was one of the first organettes to be mass produced and found their way all over the world and in many case forms and note sizes. The organettes used circular punched discs on a central pivot incorporating 4 holes in the disc corresponding with 4 drive pins in the drive plate, with a hand crank which drove the rotating disc and bellows.

24 Note black cased Ariston with round, punched heavy card discs.
